We are all for anything that will naturally help our body adapt to stress. Stress, left unchecked, can lead to very serious health issues, too, we’re talking high blood pressure, heart disease and obesity. In addition to eating clean and exercising, adaptogens can be another way to stay healthy, which results in looking healthy.
How do I implement adaptogens into my daily life?
There are a ton of products that are adaptogen based that you can add to smoothies, tea, coffee or any other liquid of your choosing. Here are a few common adaptogens, where they are found in nature, their benefits and where you can purchase them.
Ashwagandha (Indian Ginseng) – This ancient Indian herb is widely used in Ayurveda healing. Its benefits include
